The PCM2000 provides a compact and cost-effective PC-Card Controller ideally suited to
interfacing a wide range of miniature peripherals to the PC/104 bus. Compliance with
PCMCIA 2.1/JEIDA 4.1 and availability of full suite of PCMCIA support software ensures that the
PCM2000 is able to support the widest range of cards under DOS, Windows, Linux and a number of
RTOS. The PCM2000 features 2 PC-Card sockets and interfaces to the host computer over the high
speed 32-bit PC/104+ bus. The Sockets support Types I, II, III cards such as SRAM, Flash,
Fax/Modem, ISDN, GSM, WirelessLAN, BlueTooth, etc cards.
As part of our Long term availability promise this product has now been moved to our Legacy line. AMP Legacy products have guaranteed long term availability to existing customers but are no longer recommended for new projects.
