These PC/104 and PCI-104 form factor boards allow real-time addition of video overlay and annotation to multiple composite or s-video PAL/NTSC/RS-170 channels. Alpha-blending of video/video and video/graphics is also supported. The boards accept inputs from video cameras, digital video recording equipment, video instrumentation and other sources. Outputs for VGA or TV monitors, or TMDS/LVDS flat panel displays are provided. Onboard intelligence minimizes CPU host loading.

The boards support applications requiring information to be added to live video streams; these include titles, dynamic grids or visible watermarking. PiP, PoP and tiled views are supported. Annotated output can also be MPEG-4 encoded for compression and recording applications.
